Resolved - IT Services and the vendor have confirmed that the University's ServiceNow system has resumed normal operation. Users continuing to experience issues may need to close their browser and then log back into ServiceNow, or contact the IT Services Service Desk at 773.702.5800 (2.5800).

Investigating - At approximately 7:30 a.m., ServiceNow (uchicago.service-now.com/services, uchicago.service-now.com/it), the University's main request management system for the campus, became sporadically inaccessible and is experiencing degraded performance. IT Services is investigating the issue.

Resolved - As of 5:30 p.m. intranet.uchicago.edu is back in service. ITS staff will continue to work with the vendor to determine the cause of the issue.

Investigating - Sitecore, the web hosting service which hosts intranet.uchicago.edu, began experiencing an intermittent outage at approximately 3 a.m. As of approximately 10:30 a.m. intranet.uchicago.edu has become inaccessible and users will instead encounter a web page concerning technical issues. ITS staff are in contact with the vendor and will be working with them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

The long-running process has been successfully halted, which has restored normal operation. IT Services will continue to closely monitor the performance until the vendor confirms stability.
