Resolved - The network outage reported for Gleacher Center (450 Cityfront Plaza) 5th Floor has been resolved as of 7:50 a.m. Voice, wireless and wired network systems have recovered and service has resumed. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact IT Services at 773-702-5800.

Identified - IT Services identified an issue with the power equipment servicing the network equipment for the 5th floor of Gleacher and have bypassed the faulty power equipment. Telephone, wired and wireless network connectivity should be restored shortly.

Investigating - A network connectivity disruption has been reported at 6:15 a.m. for Gleacher Center (450 Cityfront Plaza) 5th Floor; telephone, wired, and wireless network connectivity are currently degraded or unavailable in a portion of that area on the 5th floor. IT Services is investigating.

Resolved - The ITS network team completed repairs to the firewalls as of approximately 7:45 p.m., which has restored full redundant service.

Resolved - The University experienced Internet connectivity issues this afternoon between approximately 4:15 p.m. until 4:35 p.m. The cause of the outage was a connection problem between the two firewalls causing them to malfunction and stop network traffic. This resulted in intermittent Internet access to/from campus. One of the firewalls was shut down as a work-around, restoring service. The ITS network team is troubleshooting the connectivity issue and will restore full redundant service this evening.

Resolved - From approximately 1:35pm to 2:10pm, users may have seen intermittent errors when logging in to uchicagobox using SSO (Single Sign-On). The issue has been resolved and no further impact has been observed. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact IT Services at 773-702-5800.
