Duo, our primary provider for 2Factor authentication, experienced a nationwide outage between approximately 8:15 and 8:40 p.m. this evening. During this window, people configured to use 2Factor authentication were unable to log in to web-based applications, and other services relying on Duo may also have been unavailable. This includes AIS, Workday, Canvas, and other Shibboleth-protected applications, if you are configured to use 2Factor authentication with your CNetID. We are continuing to monitor sites overnight in case this recurs.

Resolved - Both Dining and Door access have been restored. ITS will be investigating the situation to make sure this does not recur.

Identified - ITS and the Department of Safety & Security have restored door access. We are still working to restore Dining access.

Investigating - We are currently experiencing an issue which is preventing ID cards from opening doors on campus and from using dining registers. ITS is looking into the issue.
